I think they would probably last a year of everyday wear. There is no way they last a lifetime. My first 990s were v5s and they have ortholite insoles, but I know there is more to it than that, might be the encap material too. Way better than boost, react, and whatever else is out there.

I realize now that the squishy step of the Pegasus and UB is only really optimized for running and maybe standing still, but for long walks, the support from the V3s is crazy.
